South Dakota does not have any travel restrictions in place for visitors.  Our tourism businesses and attractions, national and state parks, hotels, motels, campgrounds, restaurants, retailers, and towns are open for business.

South Dakota’s Governor Kristi Noem’s message is the same today as it was when she announced her Back to Normal Plan on April 28, 2020:  Use common sense,  handwashing, & STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK.  One year later, South Dakota ranks third among states for the percentage of their poplation that has been fully vaccinated againgst COVID-19 at 22.19%, according to the CDC.
